Travis Tay

Travis Tay has spent more than fifteen years in the immigration, consulting and adult education industry. He began in student recruitment, guiding individuals through study and qualification pathways, and moved into immigration consultation, advising both companies and individuals on relocating to and establishing themselves in Singapore.

Today he advises foreign founders on the full journey: incorporating a Singapore company, building it into a real operating business, preparing an Employment Pass around the COMPASS framework, and planning the path to permanent residence. His work spans the practical detail that decides these cases, from what the Ministry of Manpower looks for in a company, to how salary, sector, age and education affect a COMPASS score, to the realities of corporate banking and renewal.

He writes the Golden Archway insights to give foreign founders a clear, first-hand view of how Singapore business setup and immigration actually work, rather than a recycled summary. Where rules and thresholds change, as they regularly do, he updates the guidance and confirms the current figures for each client's situation.
